Bebe Rebelle

Ms. Bebe Rebelle (pronounced Bee-Bee), will charm you with her sweet demeanor, but she is a rebel at heart. Drawn to the comedic aspect of burlesque, she’s bound to make you laugh and put a smile on your face. That’s not to say you won’t see her sassy side though, her delightful derriere will surely keep you entertained. Cats are her spirit animal, and it shows in her playful and curious nature, strong independent will, and sense of adventure (with a lazy Sunday thrown in for good measure).

Bebe, a born and raised Calgarian, has been performing in the burlesque scene since 2009. In her early 20’s she sparked an interest in the art. After discovering burlesque classes offered by Kabuki Guns Burlesque, she had found a new favorite pastime. She was also a student of Burlesque Burn, and eventually went on to join Kabuki Guns Burlesque. After taking some time off for herself, she's been eagerly awaiting a return to the stage, and what better way to do so than as a co-founder of the brand new Sugarbox Burlesque! Bebe is excited to share with everyone the wonderful world of burlesque, a world full of glitter and glamour, feathers and fannies, rhinestones and racks, and best of all, the clothing is optional.

Ophelia Wilde

Dangerous curves ahead!
This sultry dame fell in love with burlesque after seeing a show 10 years ago when the scene first hit the Calgary bars, and has been a huge supporter since. She never even dreamed of ever being on stage herself, until she took her first class with Kabuki Guns Burlesque and learned how to spin a tittie tassel. Thats when something ignited inside of her! Ms. Wilde first took to the stage tittilating audiences as a student with KGB in 2009, she continued as a student with Burlesque Burn, and then joined the KGB troupe. She has since become one of the founding members of Calgarys newest burlesque troupe Sugarbox Burlesque. This curvy sass pot had the honor of performing at the 2013 Vancouver International Burlesque Festival, as well as the 2013 Edmonton Burlesque Festival. Ophelia loves that she has the ability to be a positive body image role model and encourages women to feel empowered and comfortable in their own skin, no matter what size or shape they are!

Scarlett Von Rose

She has sass, class and a whole lotta ass. Miss Scarlett Von Rose is a refined beauty, with a certain old school charm about her, drawn towards a more classic burlesque style. She's the temptress with the tantalizing tush that will leave you wanting more.

Scarlett Von Rose has been in the burlesque scene for the past three years. A former member of Kabuki Guns Burlesque this little vixen has enjoyed the great pleasure and honour of performing in the 2013 Vancouver International Burlesque Festival, as well as the 2013 Edmonton Burlesque Festival. Scarlett is looking forward to expanding her horizons in the burlesque scene alongside her fellow Sugarbox Beauties.

Cherry Malone

This Gal is all sorts of sass! A member of one of Calgary's first Burlesque troupes, 'The Danger Dames', Cherry Malone is back on the scene after 9 long
years!!! Pouty and playful, like a very small kitten,
this Sugarbox Babe will show you what you've been missin!

Cherry Malone is drawn to classic, period specific burlesque from the 1940's and '50's--of course! A master at the art of the tease, Cherry will have you on the edge of your seat while you witness manipulation at it's finest.

Trishkitten

From the Dirty South of Alberta, Trishkitten was a founding member of Lethbridge burlesque troupes, the Brazen Hussies and The Horrorshow Groodies. These were the vessels of which she exercised her scantily clad antics and peek-a-boo moves, often including fire, power tools, balloons filled with glitter and prophylactics for the popping. A beauty school dropout, Trishkitten has been strongly influenced by antique drag queens such as Divine, and music that evokes nostalgia, from 1950’s/60’s Italian pop to experimental noir. She is looking forward to bringing her mischievous and bazaar take on vaudeville burlesque into the limelight, with the help of Dickie Hellcat’s ample bosom to complete the pair within Sugarbox Burlesque. Woman is a danger cat.

Bettie Rumble

Born of the majestic Yukon, this golden nugget is a descendent of Belles and Babes. Rough and tumble Bettie Rumble is what they call her, but with her old Hollywood glamour , you’d be easily fooled. Certainly no damsel in distress, Ms. Rumble is more likely to leave in her wake broken hearts and broken bones. Hailing from the land of gold, goodtime girls and wild men, Bettie can hold her own in any situation life throws her way, but where this gem truly sparkles is center stage.

Dickie Hellcat

Born in the trenches of the trailer park in Whitehorse, Dickie is the rookie of the group, but she is certainly no stranger to being the center of attention! With her boisterous personality on and off the stage, she will be sure to amp up the wow factor. The self proclaimed ‘weirdo’ of the group, Dickie is excited to jump out of the norm and turn heads with her antics. With Trish Kitten as her main duet partner, some kookiness will definitely be happening. Besides not being afraid to try something different, this girl is also known for her HUGE heart, tenderly encased by her ample bosom. Look out kids, there’s a new cat in town. And even better…. It’s a Hellcat.

Buster Hymann

Emcee Extraordinaire

Born and raised in Calgary Alberta, with a six year stint in Vancouver, Buster is like a finely aged wine, and he's single, ready to mother-effin mingle! With a great sense of humor - which is at times a little dry - he feeds well off of crowds. And cider. Dixons cider if you have it. Despite the -ahem- suggestive name, Mr. Hymann has a heart of gold and is always willing to lend a hand.

Buster has been involved with the burlesque scene over the last 6 years, as an enthusiastic audience member, helping with numbers and acts, and even on a judging panel for a competition in Vancouver. Sugarbox is thrilled to have Mr. Hymann on board as our number one supporter, and emcee extraordinaire!
Please, a round of applause!
